If you are an avid smartphone photographer and have a tripod, this is THE must have accessory. It allows you to attached your smart phone to a standard tripod shoe.
If you don’t have a tripod you can pick up a cheap one for around £10 that will do the trick like the Konig Traveller Camera Camcorder Tripod (see: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0017PEBZW/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=19450&creativeASIN=B0017PEBZW&linkCode=as2&tag=masudahmekhan-21&linkId=PNKE5T4ZNQHTZPB3 )
The item is spring-loaded and will stretch to fit most smartphone sizes. I am using it with and iPhone 6 with a case and there is still a little more stretch in it. It also fits my old iPhone 4.
Applies to any phone….

He also set up and ran his own media company called Gazelle Media. You may also remember the Channel 4 series, Ramadan Diaries, which Navid was a key figure and producer for.
